It is Autumn !!

When I was thinking how to write about the changes that have occurred in my life this time .. it suddenly struck me how apt my blog title "Transition" is .... atleast for now ... There have been so many transitions recently .. some were superficial & some were things that have run deep... like for instance the Farewell of my Bestest friend..

In my earlier post it was to bid 'adieu' to my room mate & close friend of 2 years ... I had gone to her marriage.. felt happy .. felt sad .. then came back to the same grind at office ....

This week it was my bestest friend's turn to say bye ... He has been such a solid presence with all the timely advices, the kind words you want to hear , an infinitely big heart and as another friend had described once "a sample of the extinct species of a good man from a different era"... The kind of ideals that he upholds have to be experienced to be believed... And this moocho man will be blushing to his roots when he reads this!!

It has been Autumn ...

So many close ones have left and still some more are leaving....

There is an urge to move on in everybody's mind... To start afresh somewhere else... and as we are at the beginning of our careers there is a tendency to feel as if your entire life is spread before you, you want to do so many things & somehow somebody is holding you back even though it might be just your imagination doing it..

And when you finally leap into the unknown..looking for better opportunities, there are so many anxieties which become byproducts to that urge to leave ...” Are we upto all the upheavals that comes along with shifting off to a new company.. New job.. new faces.. new issues.. and a new BOSS”… if the last one is nice .. mostly there is no cause to worry…. But most of us are not blessed by Lady Luck …

Yet … nothing has ever happened without that first step towards something new & better …

They say “A faint heart never wins “… and win we must in this crazy roller coaster ride called life .. and if we do not emerge winners finally… we would have atleast experienced a helluva ride !!!

What say people ??!!

When ppl leave.. u miss them and more often than not we tend to mentally amplify his/her presence in our lives..(This statment does have a disclaimer "Opinions mine only and not necessarily other's"..)..nevertheless, they are very special , hence triggering the amplification..
These roller coaster experiences I believe make us the grown ups we r..As far as I know...Autumnns are just the transitions to spring..so et us embrace life...and BTW please come to Kashid...we could have a lot of discussions..I promise not to get hyper like the last time..wink!!

Thanks for commenting sid ..yeah what u say is true in most cases.. u tend to associate so many sights & sounds to the person who has actually parted with u that everything seems amplified... and hopefully spring will not take too much time to spring ...

When we had our farewell in school, it was as if the world was coming to a end, In College we were a lil bit used to it, for we knew that we were in contacts with our school mates even then. Den why is it becoming difficult now? Its becoz we had spent a lot of time to-geder.
Our parents were not with us, it was like we were each others parents, taking care of each other , giving advices ( even if the rcvg person did not like it) ……..everything…..
I can bet that none of my friends can have such a BIG group of colleagues. For we were like more as in college than being in a Firm. In the food courts at Breakfast, in the Gym, outside F food court,In D block smoking zone, ……… these are some of the places were we use loiter around mostly.
Slowly and steadily this BIG group is now reducing.
We are missing these two ppl very much for they have been “ The Idle Friendly material” I should say. One never use to get angry, the other never got tired of helping ppl.
Both of them were bubbly enough to make us feel their absence.
Esp the musical guy, was needed a vivacious one. The place would be full of laughter if he is around.
But the season has to go on……..As sid said, such things moulds us more………..
But again, as we are in contacts with our School 1, school 2, college , colleague 1, colleague 2, we would definitely be in touch with each other for sure…………..

Wishing everyone all the good luck for their future Transitions…..

Cheers !

there is no fun in winning if u don have anyone left to celebrate your victory.......

But these transitions are always gonna be there.
every year will bring one autmn and one spring...so lets keep moving..and as correctly said by sid..these transitions will just better your perception towards life....

i would rather say that....we are not leaving anything behind..in fact we are building our memories..which we are going to cherish each day when we will be old.......

lets live TODAY and enjoy life to it's fullest......

As days fly in,lot many people walk in and out of our lives..but a few..rather a very very few carve a niche that gets etched into our mind and memories 4ever.

Parting with such special persons.....mean tooooo much..its emphatically beyond words..inexplicable...melancholic..but..

The chweet memories(the time spent together and much more) are to be cherished 4ever...Even our nearest dearest and beloved ones are not inseparable...Its the fact of this inebriating, effusive, emotional "roller-coaster" ride!

Withal, u can always be in touch!!!(are v not..?:-)))...One has to have the disposition to cope with these transitions ....!and am sure.....sundari...u can cope with whatever comes up!cheers and all the best!

that was wonderfully written sundari!

most of the time we dont realize how much we care for /or were cared by someone untill the person leaves ...
i believe thatz natures way of teaching us not 2 take anyone for granted...

what we must learn from the experience is :

1. time is the best healer.. sooner or later someone else wud b there in some other way for us, but the person gone cannot be replace

2. not taking anyone for granted ( thatz called living in the present i guess)
