Time to leave the Tree !!
I have been trying to post something for the past 2 weeks .. but somehow I could not make it past the staring phase (where I sit staring at the blogger logo... trying to pull some coherent thought out of all the ones trying to claim priority in my head) not that there was nothing happening... Things have become all the more chaotic because I have accepted an offer of job outside Mumbai where I have been staying for the past two and a half years... With all the formalities almost done I am all set to uproot to yet another new place ...
It is actually exciting to think that I will be visiting the captial city & places around that.. It is a big thing because before Mumbai I have never ventured north of Chennai .. it seems a really long way from home ... But I am not going to brood on all that for now ...will just thank my good luck and also wish sincerely that the good luck holds in the new place among new people.. Hmmmm... The Autumn has finally struck this leaf also ...
Coming from a town in Tamilnadu (By no means small... let me tell you)... I was.. to begin with.. a shy & a tongue tied girl .. though I am not too talkative even now .. the shy & tongue tied bit has gone...my attitude & perspective on so many things have changed a lot ... some beliefs that were fixtures in my mind have gone for a toss... and better still it doesnt seem to matter also...

So before leaving Maharashtra wanted to visit Nasik.. to meet my friend & also to chill out ... got the chance finally this weekend.. went along with some other friends.. this time majority girls.. great place.. really cool (literally).. was a mini-pune minus the software concerns & crowd ...and some very old places of worship ... visited the Pandava caves , Someshwar temple , Triambakeshwar temple ,a quaint township of sorts called the 100 huts .. really cute (yeah thats the word..really) ... located in a very beautiful place... and the Big Bazaar !!! ;-) actually we could not quite control the shopping urges we had (the Majority factor !!).. happily went on a shopping spree..
In Triambakeshwar, just before visiting the main temple went to a smaller one which had a pond inside.. We stood on the steps and washed our hands & legs in the cool water(was reminded of the Charanpur temple in Swades) ... The place had a distinct vibration to it...Am not really a pious person .. But I did feel a stirring inside me... was mesmerised by the sounds of the shehnai ...The cool breeze.. & water ..
all culminated into the most peaceful moment in the whole trip ...
After the visit to the temple ..went back to Nasik city .. had a great dinner .. bid a somewhat sad bye to my friend... and started off back to Mumbai.. had a hot discussion on the way back with the cab driver just to keep him awake ...
and finally reached home.. which wont be home soon... !!! :-(

Yes autumn has struck this leaf..and its time to leave..in 2 weeks time , u will be rooting urself at entirely new place..and another struggle to get to accustomed to new people will follow..another set of colleagues..another set of friends..flatmates! An entirely new life and experience!
